At Micah Projects, we are yet again humbled by the generosity and kindness of the Brisbane community, especially at this time of year. The contributions have brought joy, care and relief to people who often have nowhere else to turn.

Hamper Day Community Spirit
A heartfelt thank you to the more than 600 volunteers who joined us on Christmas Eve to pack and deliver over 800 Christmas Hampers to individuals and families across Brisbane.
Our Christmas hampers were filled with fresh fruit, essential staples and Christmas delights, from generous pantry donations, bringing relief to many directly impacted by the cost-of-living and housing crisis.
This year we provided:
- 313 Family hampers
- 950 Children’s toys
- 183 Individuals hampers
- 247 Hampers for people sleeping rough
- 106 Hampers for tenants at Brisbane Common Ground
- 660 Volunteers
2025 marks 30 years of Micah Projects. Our Christmas Hamper Appeal and has been a vital part of our journey, and our community.
To all our valued volunteers and supporters, we are deeply grateful for your support. Check out the Hamper Day community spirit- view the photo gallery
