Why We Need Bequests
By leaving a gift to Micah Projects in your Will, you will be supporting our work to break the cycle of homelessness, poverty, violence, and social exclusion experienced by individuals and families across Brisbane.
While we receive funding from government to deliver an agreed range of core services, it is the support from the community, philanthropists, and businesses that enables us to innovate in service delivery and to go the extra mile in critical assistance for individuals and families experiencing adversity. This support means we are better able to respond to needs in the community and assist people to have their basic needs met and enjoy a decent quality of life.

Having people who care and someone who believes in me makes all the difference.

It didn’t matter what obstacle we were faced with, the Family Support and Advocacy Team seemed to find a way to get around it. They sorted out with us our protection visas, our Centrelink payments, housing and furniture, got the children enrolled in and supported at school, and helped us deal with some pretty big health and dental issues. I don’t know if we would have survived without them.
