Micah Projects' Brisbane Domestic Violence Service is excited to announce that our Spread the Warmth campaign is again underway in 2026!
We are currently seeking donations of brand new, unwrapped robes which will be distributed to isolated mums living in crisis accommodation and domestic violence refuges this Mother's Day.
Donations of robes can be dropped at one of the dedicated drop-off points up until Friday 1 May 2026.
If you are unable to make it to a drop off location, we are also accepting donations. You can make a donation at GiveNow - Spread the Warmth 2026
This is a great opportunity to make women in crisis feel connected and supported by their community.

What We've Learned About Ending Homelessness News
At Micah Projects, we know that ending homelessness isn't about one service or one solution. It takes housing, healthcare, community, evidence, and partnerships working together to help people move from crisis to stability and then thrive. For more than 30 years, we've worked alongside people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity across Brisbane. These are some of the ideas that continue to guide our work, and the evidence that spurs us forward.

The Missing Piece: Why Connection is Part of Family Care News
We know that healing doesn't happen in isolation, and that trauma, violence, housing instability and poverty often isolate families from the very relationships and opportunities that help people recover and thrive. The Hawthorne Hub links families with services, peers and community, not just professional support, because connection and belonging are vital parts of feeling safe, supported and strong.
