Christmas Hampers 2025
Our Christmas Hamper Appeal is an annual tradition bringing people together to support members of our community who are doing it tough.
Each year, we partner with schools, community groups, businesses and individuals to bring Christmas cheer to the families and individuals we support.
In 2024, more than 1,200 hampers - each filled with pantry staples, fresh fruit and toys -were delivered to families across Brisbane.
Want to get involved this year? Here’s how:
- Donate or organise a donation drive: donated goods will be received from 24 November to 12 December 2025.
- Volunteer: Volunteer to help pack and deliver Christmas Hampers for locals facing hardship. Volunteer registrations open Monday 17 November at 9am - spots usually fill fast! To register visit: https://signup.com/go/VcBESfk
Help us spread kindness and joy across our community this Christmas.

It takes housing, healthcare, community, evidence, and partnerships working together to help people move from crisis to stability and then thrive. For more than 30 years, we've worked alongside people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity across Brisbane. These are some of the ideas that continue to guide our work, and the evidence that spurs us forward.

The Missing Piece: Why Connection is Part of Family Care News
We know that healing doesn't happen in isolation, and that trauma, violence, housing instability and poverty often isolate families from the very relationships and opportunities that help people recover and thrive.
