Our Hope Street and Hope on Boundary cafes are not-for-profit social enterprises.
We provide inclusive opportunities for locals to eat, drink, connect, create and contribute.
We give back to the community through:
Traineeships, hospitality certification and job opportunities for those facing social barriers to employment
Nutritious cooked meals for those in need
Events for social inclusion, such as open mic nights and art classes
Fundraisers
The money we make is invested back into building our community.
Our Traineeship Program
Delivered through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program, our industry recognised paid traineeship program supports people experiencing social or economic barriers to employment, helping create pathways to future opportunities in a supportive learning environment.
Located at our Hope Street Café this opportunity is available to all eligible job seekers, with every trainee receiving a certificate I on completion of the 22-week program and support with future employment pathways.
