Redress

For those who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse

We support people seeking redress for institutional child sexual abuse through the National Redress Scheme.

The National Redress Scheme was developed in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Established in 1 July 2018, it will run for 10 years.

While it is widely acknowledged that these schemes cannot heal the trauma of these injustices, they do provide the chance for people to be heard and their pain to be acknowledged.

You may be eligible for:

  • A monetary payment
  • Access to counselling
  • A direct personal response from responsible institution/s.

Our team can provide information, referral, and can help you complete and submit your application.
