Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS)
BDVS is the regional domestic violence service provider for Brisbane, working with Queensland Police Service, Courts and Hospitals.
Our work involves providing immediate support and services for women and children experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence.
Whether you are thinking about staying, leaving, aren’t yet sure what you want to do, or you're worried about a family member or friend, BDVS can provide you with support, information and options.
We can support you in the community, at home (if safe to do so), via telephone or digital platforms, or in one of our offices at Brisbane North, South or Central.
Our phone lines are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
If you are currently in an emergency situation call the Police on 000.

Safer Lives Mobile Service (SLMS)
SLMS is a 24-hour specialist domestic and family violence outreach service supporting women and children in Brisbane, who are in DVConnect funded motel accommodation whilst awaiting placement in a women’s refuge, temporary supported accommodation, or a longer-term housing solution.
SLMS support also includes outreaching to a hospital to provide women with a safety phone or meeting a woman with police to discuss safety upgrades so she can safely stay in her property.
SLMS is operated in partnership with DV Connect, Queensland Police Service and Queensland Health by providing practical support for women in motel accommodation and help with safe accommodation and housing pathways.
Women and children who are currently being supported by SLMS can reach the team on 07 3013 6013. If you are currently in an emergency, call emergency services on 000.
