Since 2005 Candle Lighting Vigils have taken place annually across Australia, with the first being in Queensland and organised by the 15 members of the Queensland Domestic Violence Services Network (QDVSN). These events continue to be held annually across the country, serving as a poignant reminder of the need for ongoing awareness, prevention, and support.
